The Fleet of Reedereigruppe Freese

MS „FREESIA“ and MS „LILIA“ are newly developed Heavy Lift Multipurpose Dry Cargo Vessels. The ships classification (with ice class E3) has been carried out by the classification society Germanischer Lloyd, which allows to trade within seasonal ice covered regions. The vessels were built in 2004 at the Jiangdong Shipyard and Jiangzhou Shipyard in China in cooperation with the Dutch Volharding Shipyard, which provides the builder with the total conception and carried out the final outfitting. The vessels have a deadweight of 12.782 tdw, they dispose of each three cargo holds with variable tweendecks. They have a container capacity of 665 TEU. The two cargo handling gears have a lifting capacity of each120 mt (combined 240mt) and make possible transports of heavy goods of many kinds.

For both vessels we have a charter contract with the German shipping company Beluga Chartering GmbH under Antigua & Barbuda flag. The timecharternames of these vessels are MV „Beluga Elegance“ and MV „Beluga Efficiency“ (presently under subcharter with BBC with the name MV „BBC Carolina“). They are operating  in a world wide trampservice.
